Interpret Durban's sixth iteration, #ID6, will be held in partnership with Durban Street Food Festival on Friday 18 November, 2015 at 102 Florence Nzama Road, Durban. The exhibition will commence at 17h00, with winners announced at the Festival followed by a choice selection of live local music (gqom, hip-hop, punk, indie)

Entries have closed for #ID6 and the exhibition and winner announcements will take place on Friday at the Festival. Interpret Durban exhibitions are known for their provoking pieces which expose the city to itself and challenge the way that attendees view themselves in the context of the prevalent milieu.A Red Bull & DEF Couch Session with Mashayabuqe Kamamba (Shandarabaa, Ekhelemendeh & Sukumani) and DJ Lag (the boiler room setculminates in an evening of select live local musicians, bands and DJ's which are sure to keep your ears fed long after your belly is full.

Interpret Durban's four categories are photography, video, illustration, and visual art. The entries are informed and directed by this year’s theme, Durban Flavour, which is all about food and its role uniting and unifying society at large.

R200,000 in prizes at #ID6 are made possible by contributions from Red Bull, Lion Match, Mr Price Home and African Art Centre.
